ChatGPT’s emergence and subsequent evolution as a generative artificial intelligence tool introduces new ways of assisting students with research design. The inclusion in the methodology section goes a step further than what has been suggested in literature for citing ChatGPT or acknowledging its uses (Castellanos-Gomez, 2023).
