When I look at the various articles and comments in the Teaching Professor collection, group work continues to be a regular topic. It’s proved itself an instructional method of equal parts possibilities and problems. When the group project goes poorly, the content is compromised, and students turn their backs on group work.

PhotoVoice is a visual method used to understand the world through the eyes of those experiencing it. It is often used as a research method in the social sciences and is typically used to study underserved populations and how they experience life—such as homeless youth, victims of trauma, and many more.
