To bring students back to the classroom, it can be tempting to scale back some course accommodations, such as not recording lectures or providing material online ( D’Agostino, 2022 ). My recommendation would be to continue to support these fledgling communities, celebrate them and encourage their growth recognizing that there exists serious barriers and lack of motivation to implement such change, particularly among the tenure-track faculty. They simply won’t work. We can no longer go back to pre-pandemic practices.
