With the realization that COVID will stick with us, and with determination to live with it and resume aspects of pre-pandemic life, educators are once again eager to gather at edtech conferences and experience the latest and greatest solutions, digital learning resources, and professional learning opportunities.
Instead, the school wants students to help test and design the learningtools they use—in hopes that their feedback can improve pass rates and other metrics. It’s part of a partnership with Lumen Learning, creator of the college’s courseware, that will directly inform the products and content the company develops for the campus.
When it comes to learning, engagement is influenced by a learner's level of motivation, focus and cognitive ability as well as online coursedesign and a teacher's decisions regarding facilitation style. In its simplest form, engagement is a measure of how much we are attending to a purpose, task or activity.
