Can you discuss the design considerations that you made to ensure that the content in your curriculum is accessible to the diverse students that you’re trying to serve? Tanner: First we centered the students themselves in our design process.

In our discussion, we will focus on formative -developmental observations because we are interested in practices that help in the improvement of teaching practices in educational institutions. Promote the haring of best practices : Faculty can observe, discuss, and integrate effective teaching strategies used by their peers.

In doing so, we should design assessments as an engaging, ongoing process for students, helping them learn and achieve their learning outcomes rather than considering it as a one-shot test or quiz and focusing merely on the score. This can be discussed for each assessment depending on its specifications.
