Assignment Checklist. These are often the same things that teachers outline in the initial description of the assignment, task, or project. I believe rubrics should be provided at the start of any assignment, task, or project that will be assessed using a rubric. but to avoid making notes on the other student’s work.

Either assign students a particular slide (by writing their names at the bottom of each slide) or allow students to select the slide they want to work on. Teachers can strategically assign slides to subtly differentiate learning or give students a degree of agency by allowing them to choose their slides. virtualjigsaw. #3

When I was in college, I started writing a holiday newsletter to include with my Christmas cards. Yet, it seemed wrong to pretend the year didn’t happen or that I learned nothing from it. As I began to write, I realized that 2020 for me was a year of extremes. If not, what would they enjoy learning?

Breakout rooms are a relatively new addition to our students’ learning landscape, so we cannot assume they will be immediately comfortable speaking up in a breakout room. There may be anxiety associated with engaging in a breakout room, especially in the early stages of navigating online learning. for a unit or text.
