On a quiet morning in Ottawas Rockcliffe Park, more than a century ago, a woman named Theodora Philpot opened her home to four young students. There was no fanfarejust a vision, a small classroom, and a deep belief in what girls could achieve when given the right environment to grow. That moment in 1915 became the foundation of what is now Elmwood School an institution that, in 2025, proudly celebrates 110 years of inspiring young women to lead with confidence and purpose.
